Expert Lingo

We have been working on Navigating Nonfiction in Reader's Workshop! Today our students had the opportunity to continue researching their topic in their inquiry groups. They are working towards becoming experts on an animal. The next step to becoming an expert was to find and use the vocabulary 'lingo' of their topic. They worked on 'talking the talk' of their topic! During the workshop, they had to drop off a new word on our Jot Lot. Check out our new learning!
